I know some do not expect much from a merc, they do it for cash. for example paying a lot of money for a easy contract to a buddy, whom i (an experienced and rich veteran someday) will help.Ībsurd? when i say house status, what did you think i meant? to have hundreds of years of tradition and honor? did you think i meant the power of all the worlds controlled by the great houses? but i see a lot of potential of misuse here. well and if that could be implemented, it could be just great. working for an another unit means THIS UNIT has to pay. by working for a house you are paid by the House itself (Ingame its some mysterious creature called AI). but there you must look how it will work out with the payment. the idea of doing jobs for other units is great. if the mercs are going to found a coallition and help each other, then its ok. so if we do jobs for the merc house, we will getting a friendly status with all merc units, even the one´s we a re fighting with?ĥ. how exactly should it work with the (hypothetical) Merc house? getting better rep means getting friendly with someone. working for a Great House in MWO means to earn reputation for this house. ok, they had contracts where they had to support each other, but they were just hired to do so. the mercs in the BT-universe never acted as one. getting a house status for the mercenaries is absurd. what exactly we are going to do with it, is left to us.ģ. a new subforum is unnecessary, cause we already have one.
